Headspace is awesome. A portion of my in-person/video teaching lessons are heavily influenced by Headspace. Andy Puddicombe knows what he’s talking about, and if you’re looking for guided meditation, you can’t go wrong here.

Know Yourself

Wheeler, who I talk extensively about in my upcoming book An Ordinary Dude’s Guide to Enlightenment, had a profound effect on my outlook. It is in fact John Wheeler’s books that knocked me out of my new-age hippy phase, and is probably my favorite book here for this very reason.
Like Buddhism, Taoism has had a big influence on my views, and this book couldn’t be a better introduction. It provides a very simple, easy-to-understand, fun introduction to Taoism and its philosophical ideas. One of my all time favorite books. ​
In my younger years, when I was soul searching and looking for answers about the truth of existence, the self and who I really was, this book was extremely helpful to me. Recommended for those interested in enlightenment. ​

Change Your Habits

More is not always better. Babauta, author of the popular blog Zen Habits, shows readers how less is uncluttered, clear and easier to understand. A core philosophy of the book is, less provides your life more value and focus. ​
The Heath brothers are geniuses. Probably the smartest, most insightful authors I’ve come across, Chip and Dan's Switch breaks down habit change into practical steps—with enlightening metaphors, stories, studies and a heavy dose of wit. Any of their books are certain to make you more perceptive and smarter. ​
Life changing books don’t get better than this. Out of the hundreds of books I’ve read, Eat That Frog has had the biggest influence on my life. Do yourself a favor and read this Brian Tracy classic. It will change the way you look at the world and what you place importance on. ​
